After starting the deployment to cloud, in the first step, you need to authenticate with your Google email account you used to signup for Google Cloud Console.

In some cases, there’s can be an authorization error and your Google account will not connect:

It happens when your cookies are blocked in the browser. If you are using Chrome, go to the browser settings to solve the issue.

Type “cookies” in the search bar and then scroll down to select Content settings

In Content settings window, make sure that "Allow sites to save and read cookie data" is enabled. Also Block third party cookies and site data” option should NOT be checked. Uncheck it if needed and hit Done.

Close the settigs with the top right X sign and refresh you itopia session.

If you still get an error, make sure that you don’t have any extensions in your browser that are blocking cookies.
