Overview

CloudApps Classroom (CAC) allows you to access the applications your classes require on any device—just log in, and you can find and launch all the apps you need from your Student Portal!

When your class is over, you can easily save your work to Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or Adobe Creative Cloud, so nothing is lost and you can pick it right back up in the next class session.

In this article, we’ll review the basic steps to get started:

Step 1: Log in

1. Head to labs.itopia.com

2. Log in with your school’s preferred identity provider (Google, Microsoft, or ClassLink).

Step 2: Launch your Lab

Your Labs correspond to your individual classes, and each Lab will contain the application(s) you’ll need for that class.

Once you’ve logged in to CAC, you should be able to see the Labs that your teachers have assigned to you, based on the classes you’re taking.

Just select Start to launch the Lab you need!

📝 Note

If you don’t see the correct Lab, let your teacher know so they can add you to the roster.

The Lab start up can take up to 90 seconds.

Step 4: Log in to your cloud platform

Launch the Google Drive shortcut on your desktop to complete the login process and access your Google Drive data. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Google Drive login process.

Step 5: Launch your application

Once you’ve completed the steps to begin your CAC session, just find the application you need on your desktop and click to launch.

Then, you can get to work! Make sure to save your work when your class is over so you’re able to pick back up where you left off next time.
