Microsoft Office remains an industry standard for creating and editing documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other content. Although Microsoft provides cross-platform versions of some of these tools, the Windows version of Microsoft Office remains the most feature-rich and powerful version available.

itopia CloudApps offers Microsoft Office Professional Plus, which includes the following applications:

Microsoft Office licensing is included for every licensed Labs user. Due to Microsoft's licensing model, CloudApps can only offer the "LTSC" version of Microsoft Office; this differs slightly from the "Office 365" version of Microsoft Office. Microsoft does not provide detailed documentation on the differences between these versions; however, some specific features (such as certain Excel functions) are only available in the Office 365 version.

Note that this licensing only applies to the Office software; students are permitted to connect to their Office 365 services and data such as OneDrive, SharePoint, or Teams from within CloudApps.
