Overview

The preflight checklist is a quick series of network tests that runs each time a user signs into CloudApps. The checklist helps to ensure that the user's browser can communicate with CloudApps services and performs some basic network speed tests.

Follow these steps to ensure your network and setup are ready for your CloudApps Classroom session: To see the video click here.

  1. Log into CloudApps Classroom Dashboard:

    • Start by logging into your CloudApps Classroom Dashboard (CloudApps Classroom) using your school credentials.

  2. Locate the Preflight Check Icon:

    • In the dashboard, look for an icon that resembles a WiFi symbol. This is the Preflight Check icon.

  3. Run the Preflight Check:

    • Click on the WiFi symbol to initiate the Preflight Check. This tool will verify the status of your network and ensure that everything is functioning correctly for your session.

  4. Wait for the Results:

    • The Preflight Check will run a series of tests on your network connection. This may take a few moments. Be patient as the system checks for any potential issues.

  5. Review the Results:

    • Once the Preflight Check is complete, review the results displayed on the screen.

  6. If you see issues:

    • Re-run the test and if the issues persists take a screenshot of the results and email them to your teacher or IT Help Desk.

If everything looks good, the user will only see a brief "toast" notification:
